Centralized glycol equipment for drying and maturing ham.

The MONTAUZER factory that was historically located in the town of Guiche was moved at the end of October 2020 to the neighboring town of Bardos. The new facility, more modern and efficient, also has a public sales area.

Christian and Nelly Montauzer, grandchildren of the founder, work conscientiously with the aim of maintaining traditional craftsmanship and guaranteeing high quality products. As for ham, they produce two types: Baiona ham (Jambon de Byonne IGP, protected geographic designation) with a 12-month cure and Ibaïama ham with a 20-month cure. The cold production is located in a machine room where we find a chiller with A2L refrigerant thanks to which we obtain cold and hot MPG to be able to supply all the cold and hot demand. GREENFRIO supplied a total of 6 centralized glycol equipment for pre-post-salting, post-salting, drying and maturing services. The valve station for hot and cold glycol management has the most reliable and advanced components to ensure the optimal performance of all equipment and the desired result in the corresponding processes.

For greater control and monitoring, our SCADA was installed; thanks to this software an exhaustive monitoring and control of the different processes is obtained, management of notices and alarms and data and information is also recorded for analysis.
