In 1977, brothers Julio and Faustino Calvo founded Hnos Calvo in the Ribera de Navarra, defying the dry climate to grow endives. In 2012, the second generation introduced lettuce grown in water pools, which is sold with roots to maintain freshness. In just over a year, Endinava successfully launched several types of live lettuces, including Batavia, Lollo, Oak Leaf and Salanova® Trocadero. In 2017, they began an Organic Fig cultivation project with a focus on quality and sustainability. They hope to continue producing high quality products that are well received in the market. The refrigeration service consists of a rapid cooling rooms equipped with two monoblock units each of 25 HP operating with R449A refrigerant. These devices belong to the RX range which include condensing coils with microchannel technology and EC condensing fans; Thanks to this combination in which, on the one hand, there is a large exchange surface and, on the other hand, the fans self-regulate to operate at the ideal working pressure, we obtain optimal equipment performance and considerable energy savings.

The equipment supplied is fully tested, regulated and run in real working conditions. To this end, GREENFRÍO has several test rooms in which it carries out all types of tests to guarantee that the equipment is supplied ready for installation and operation.
